Please join us on November 16th, 2017 where Carmen and George will educate us on the issues involved in Succession Planning and Business Transition as well as provide an update on recent developments in the Canadian and Global Markets.

Carmen joined the Private Wealth Planning team at HSBC Private Wealth Services (Canada) Inc. in August 2015, and works with business owners across the prairies in identifying strategies to transition or sell their business. Carmen started her career as a bookkeeper working in various accounting roles in Calgary for 8 years, then found her true calling in Wealth Planning.  Starting in the financial services industry in 2002, her previous roles included advising on financial planning, mutual funds, insurance, and investments. Carmen attained the CFP designation in 2005, and received the CFA Charter in 2015.

George brings over 30 years of experience in wealth management with several Canadian financial institutions.  Prior to joining HSBC Private Wealth Services in 2014, George was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at a large private capital firm where he managed a discretionary investment portfolio of high net worth clients. In his current role, George advises individuals, families, professionals, business owners, estates and trusts, focusing on understanding their financial needs and matching them to a personalized investment strategy.
